New Contemporary Ballet Solo

I had an opportunity to choreograph a contemporary solo piece on Makiko Miyasho who is dancing at Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater in Russia.

I decided the music first this time, then expand the image of the piece and created movements.

The music is Prelude by Chopin. It is very fast tempo but very beautiful. The movements became very fast too. Like Each note has each movement.

And She need to dance on pointe shoes!

She was telling me that she was not used to this kind of movement, however She analyze the movements, practice repeatedly and made the piece much better.

I was so excited to see her dance every rehearsal.

It may take more time to be able to see the piece on stage, but I am already excited to see the piece on stage soon!
